Description

DSIP, or delta sleep inducing peptide, is a nine amino acid neuropeptide
first isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood in the 1970s. It is
studied in laboratory models for its interactions with hypothalamic
regulation and circadian signaling, which is why it turns up in sleep
architecture and neuroendocrine research.
