Test Results and Certificates of Analysis

Who performs the testing

Testing is performed by Chromate, an independent analytical laboratory based in the United States. Peptide Zlabs does not test its own products. Results for each batch can be looked up in Chromate’s Verify portal at chromate.org.

What the testing covers

Purity is measured by High Performance Liquid Chromatography, or HPLC. HPLC separates the peptide from related substances in the sample and reports the main peak as a percentage of the total.

Identity is confirmed by Mass Spectrometry, or MS. MS measures the molecular weight of the peptide and confirms it matches the expected sequence.

How to read a certificate

Each certificate lists the compound name, the batch or lot number, the date of analysis, the purity result, and the observed molecular weight against the theoretical value. Match the lot number printed on your vial to the certificate for that batch.
