Description

KPV is a tripeptide made of lysine, proline and valine, and it is the
C terminal fragment of alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone. Unlike the
parent hormone it does not act on pigmentation, so laboratory research
uses it to study anti inflammatory and antimicrobial pathways on their
own, particularly in dermal and gastrointestinal models.
